Prior to reading the reviews listed below, you may first wish to learn about PHRC's Rating System and read our essay on Evaluation Criteria. PHRC invites people to submit reviews for consideration or to answer our most recent Call for Reviews.
Web sites reviewed range from more traditional producers of public history, such as museums, archives, and historical societies, to a growing number of history professors, hobbyists, and other organizations who utilize the ease of Web publication to present their research, story, or passion.
Currently reviews are arranged by Review Issue (in reverse date order). Within each Review Issue, organization is alphabetical by the title of the site being reviewed. Each Review Issue contains an introduction to the issue, ratings of the sites, abstracts of the reviews, full-length reviews of the sites, and a list of additional Web sites of interest pertaining to the topic of the issue.
