Presentations of Public History Online: Web Site Reviews

Web sites reviewed range from more traditional producers of public history, such as museums, archives, and historical societies, to a growing number of history professors, hobbyists, and other organizations who utilize the ease of Web publication to present their research, story, or passion.

Currently reviews are arranged by Review Issue (in reverse date order). Within each Review Issue, organization is alphabetical by the title of the site being reviewed. Each Review Issue contains an introduction to the issue, ratings of the sites, abstracts of the reviews, full-length reviews of the sites, and a list of additional Web sites of interest pertaining to the topic of the issue. Click on the issue name below to access abstracts and additional sites of interest, or go directly to the full-length review by clicking on a review title.
